Yarning Crescent exists to bridge the gap between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and the services, support and opportunities they deserve.

Yarning Crescent was established to provide culturally safe, community-led services that genuinely support Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and the organisations that work alongside them.
The name "Yarning Crescent" reflects two powerful concepts: yarning — the Aboriginal tradition of deep, respectful conversation and storytelling — and the crescent, a symbol of growth, renewal and the ongoing journey of our peoples.
We are Supply Nation registered and proudly Indigenous led. Our team brings together lived experience, cultural knowledge, and professional expertise across social work, community services, education, training, and business.
We bring something that cannot be replicated — genuine cultural authority, community trust, and a deep commitment to making a real difference.
Our leadership team are respected Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community members with deep ties to Country and community. We lead from within, not from the outside.
Every service we deliver is underpinned by genuine cultural knowledge, lived experience and professional qualifications. Culture is not an add-on — it is the foundation of everything we do.
We look at the whole person — their social, emotional, cultural, spiritual and practical needs. Our services are designed to support people across all aspects of their lives.
We have built genuine, long-standing relationships with communities, Elders, families and organisations across Australia. Trust is earned, and we take that responsibility seriously.
No two people, families or organisations are the same. We take the time to understand your specific needs and design services that are right for you — not a one-size-fits-all approach.
We are committed to systemic change that improves outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. Every engagement is an opportunity to shift culture, build capacity and create lasting impact.
Yarning Crescent is a member of two peak bodies and a registered Supply Nation Aboriginal business, reflecting our commitment to community, accountability and genuine Indigenous leadership.
NSW Child, Family and Community Peak Aboriginal Corporation — the peak body for Aboriginal out-of-home care and family support services in NSW.
Coalition of Aboriginal Peak Organisations, Greater Western Sydney — Ngaliya, representing Aboriginal community-controlled organisations across the region.
Verified Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander business registered with Supply Nation.

Yarning Crescent acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we work and live. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and extend that respect to all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples across Australia. We recognise the continuing connection to land, waters and culture, and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.
