For the second year running, Yarning Crescent is proudly supporting the Blacktown Red Bellies ahead of the annual Koori Knockout in Newcastle. We're calling for volunteers to help make the day a success — setup, community engagement, pack-up, elder meet & greet, and meaningful conversations with community.

The annual Koori Knockout is one of Australia's largest and most celebrated Aboriginal rugby league carnivals. Yarning Crescent is proud to walk alongside the Blacktown Red Bellies as they take the field in Newcastle.

A volunteer-led food relief initiative founded by one of our Directors and run every week — alternating between Chullora Public School and Blacktown Community Hall. In partnership with SecondBite and Foodbank Australia, the Marree Connection delivers $10,000–$20,000 worth of food relief every single week. None of it is possible without our incredible volunteers.
